Devices:htc shift

The recovery of HTC SHIFT hangs on wpeinit.

I tried to use the System Recovery of HTC SHIFT and it gets stuck after the following:
x \windows\system32>echo off
x \windows\system32>wpeinit

and then stops here with no move. Can anyone help please
