There are no downloads under the OS tab yet though. So does this mean they are skipping 2.3 and going straight to 3.0 and is it going to be available soon? Hopefully, if so i hope vache will put out a new version of Metalounay based on it since done such a great job on the previous ones!! Guest cyrusbyte Posted April 1, 2011 Report Share Posted April 1, 2011 One interesting thing is that most of the android devices that originally came out with 2.1 (except the liquid mini??) or higher have the option for honeycomb now but the older ones don't... is this a a clue possibly? I know i read somewhere that only some manufacturers have received Honeycomb code, Acer being one of them.. So i wonder if they just put that option there for all devices that can support honeycomb, or the ones they are developing for? If anybody finds it on the site somewhere please let us know and download it! :) Highly doubtful. Honeycomb is a tablet O/S and as far as I know is not being ported to any smartphone device. It would be pretty spiffy if it was ported but I believe the display alone for HC is too much for the smaller smartphone screens, including the Dell Streak (which has a monster 5" screen).
