I'll revert back to stock Acer Contacts/Phone for next release, there's too many bugs using AOSP one.

It's still not fixed, so you have a part of the answer =)
And even on the 2.6.35 kernel coming with gingerbread leak, it still the same.

yes for example in your metalounay kernel i've seen that you removed the vsync so when acer publish the kernel source you are able to remove the limitation...but in my hopinion there's another limitation, seems very strange that this device cannot reach 60fps and more in menu..or not?

Removing vsync does not remove limitation, it just make it higher.
The internel frequencies is running good, it runs at 60FPS, but something divided it by 2, or reserved 30FPS for something.
I stopped to work on it sometimes ago cause it bored me, and i can't find any solution.
Somes phones add a similar issue, but was removed by using an updated kernel, or with some hack that doesn't work for us.
(HTC Evo, Dell Streak....)
I'm waiting for 2.6.35 sources, it should help. (i hope)

@Vache
How can you understand if 2.6.35 still has fps limit?
In another tread you said that testing with fps2d score is from 20 to 120..
This isn't a critic
I only hope that low fps is only caused by a no good kernel / video driver and not because fps limit
