I saw at this topic, somebody got an update on the LG Mobile Software tool and now he got a new baseband with version number:
1035.21_20110405

I just checked if I had an update too, but I didn't.
So, can somebody please verify if there is an update avaliable?
And which changes are made?

Some countries are getting updated.

New baseband, rom version b.
Still android 2.2.2 tho.

Are there some differences compared with the older basebands?
Maybe Paul can brings us all the new baseband?

I havn't got the update (Netherlands)
Some people from Denmark did receive it.

would be neat, I've been struggling over the past few days over applying the 0315 baseband via smartflash, because my call quality is horrible.

singapore set, was using 20110218, now downloading the update. (not sure the update version yet)

I got the update a few hours ago. Baseband changed to:
1035.21_20110405
LGE to:
LGP990-V10b

Im thinking that Denmark got the update before the Netherlands because we also got the free HDMI cable

Nah don't think that's the reason, we got VIP service that is more worth then a HDMI cable

LG PC Suite IV starts it for you after you have searched for an update(and it finds one). Pc suite installer was on the internal sd card when you got the phone. If you deleted it you can alway download the internal sd contents again from forum.

So i checked in PS suite for a update and it found 1. I'm in Holland

Edit: Then it launched LG update but that one didn't find any update, strange.

note: there is a new software named ''Backup'' installed with this update, I am not going to touch/freeze it until somebody does though

It's Sprite Backup, it's included in MCR too.

It would be interesting to hear from the ones who updated if there are any differences with the audio quality and reception.
