Hey,
Just wanted to know is it possible to remove the recovery for the metal..??
My phone has an accelerometer problem...so i'm getting it fixed by the service center...
Having recovery will void my warranty..??
Pls reply back... :)

Flash this modded boot with recovery : http://shoobee.eu/up...6boot-flash.zip (it's not signed, you'll have to disable signature check in "Other" menu)

And then try again to flash the firmware.

Always the 20Mb error ?

Edit Could you pastebin logs from firmware setup ?

You can find them here : C:\Program Files\Acer Inc\Acer Liquid Metal Tool\acer_EuuDownload_Tool\LogFile\$$DateOfTheDay$$\

Nothing in the log :/

You can try to flash the .bin file with ADT.

How to save the bin from setup :

Launch setup and wait the install finish.
When the flash program opens (don't close it), go to : C:\Program Files\Acer Inc\Acer Liquid Metal Tool\acer_EuuDownload_Tool\A4_BIN (don't remember exactly the folder name)
You'll find this file OS_mergeFile.bin. Copy it somewhere and then you can close the flash program.

Flash the bin file with ADT as usual.

I was able to extract the recovery.img from the bin file.

http://localhostr.co...100.19-GEN2.zip

Including the usual install script.

I made a mistake, rename the file "recovery.1.100.19-GEN2_original.img" to "recovery-1.100.19-GEN2_original.img"
