Stock recovery image

Hey

I need to return my blade due to an effect, i've loaded the original rom onto it (2.1 Mobistar Belgium) but am still stuck with clockworkmod as recovery.

I don't have a backup of recovery.img and need it to flash it.

Does every ZTE blade have the same recovery? (I would suspect so as it's the same hardware but I'm not entirely sure ...)

If so, could anyone please provide the stock recovery so I can flash it onto my phone with recovery manager?

(Yes I've tried google and I've browsed these forums, but I could not find a stock recovery.img)

Thanks in advance!

All the information can be found in the forums if you do a search. From a response from someone else asking the question only a couple of weeks ago:

Hey,

I've seen that topic, I was simply unaware the stock roms also contained the stock recovery file (besides, my stock rom is not listed there ...).

Either way, I've further been looking into the forums and found this one: http://android.modaco.com/index.php?s=&amp...t&p=1551738

Can anyone confirm this recovery image works the same for every ZTE blade device, like is there any difference between the recovery.img for the amoled and tft version or does every version of the blade use the same recovery.img?

Thanks a lot!

Don't use recovery manager

flash it with fastboot

(boot with volume + up to get to the bootloader)

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

Allright, fair enough, would you mind to explain what's better about using fastboot?

And can you confirm the recovery.img is THE SAME on every ZTE Blade? I just don't want to end up with a broken recovery on it when I return it tonight ...

Yes, they are all the same!

Just flash it.

And the ROM zip files probably contain scripts to push the recovery as well as the ROM itself.
