I just ordered these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/6x-screen-protector-...770198548407403 and they are the WORSE screen protectors I have EVER used in about 8-9 years. They are almost like clear tape and your finger sticks on it when moving. I wish I'd left the factory fitted one on now.

So could anybody recommend some screen savers that are a little thicker like the ones for the Ipod/Iphone or even the ones I brought for my ZTE blade.

Thanks

try to locate a car assories shop, find a nano coating spray for glass.

remove any stick on protector, clean the surface. spray on and wait

at last, you got a nano protective layer which could last for a year.

does that spray protect the screen from scratches ? I always thought it was a water proofing spray

The best and, which is much more important, most good-looking screenprotector is to not put any kind of ugly foil on the device and simply making sure that there's nothing else in the pocket you're carrying the phone. At least nothing that could scratch the screen. Such item is hard to find anyway (see posting above mine), but for me, I also like to keep the rest of the device scratch-free, so I simply don't carry anything else in the same pocket with the phone.

Honestly, I had dozens of mobile phones and smartphones, I NEVER used a screen protector on it and i NEVER had even a single scratch on any of these phones. Even though I do carry it in pockets. I simply make sure that there's nothing else in the pocket, and that the pocket is clean. At least the inside. :)

I was always wondering what those folks that are asking for screen protectors all the time do with their mobiles. Plus, I have seen lots of phones with protectors where their owners claimed the protector would be some sort of "invisible". Actually, I have not seen ANY screen protector that I would call even close to be "invisible". There is no such thing like a "invisible screen protector", not even if you consider the term "invisible" as marketing, which you have to, because a real invisible screen protection foil would be quite scary. And how would you stick it if you cannot see it... :)

Screen protectors are ALWAYS visible, and in most (if not all) cases they make the device ugly.

Sorry, doesn't really help the TS, just my 2 cents...

WOW I winced at that, that sure is impressive. I liked the comment on page 2 though 'The pop up window said: "Stop scratching me already!"' :)

metal is soft compare to gorila glass.

If you try using sands or stones for scratch test, I'm sure you'll even more impress.

impress because sands are so much harder than those metals and your screen.

sometimes we do need protector if you working outdoor or dusty place.

nano crystal coating is really invisible one.

Yes and you gonna fill your pockets with sand and stones + your phone rather than coins and keys + your phone.

I dont think screen protector will help you much in this case

Of coarse it will. As soon as the screen protector is scratched you just replace it. If the screen gets scratched then that can make reading it a little harder. You can get the rest of the phone as scratched as you like, just so long as the screen is still readable and usable.
