Guest lufchigh
Ok here’s my problem…and remember I am something of a novice with this sort of thing. Typically my memory resources will show about 120 – 156 Mb free (using quick system info). If I open my Dolphin browser that will drop by about 45Mb (as you would expect) but if I go to a site that uses Flash Player the memory is just eaten up (drops to about 20 Mb). The real problem though is that if I exit out of Dolphin my memory will remain at about 20Mb free and the phone virtually packs up and I have to restart it. This also happens if I use the android browser. If I DON’t visit a site with Flash then everything is fine…when I close Dolphin my memory levels return to normal. I’m using the MCR fr11, a2sd+, Flash 10.2, and in all other respects everything seems fine.
Guest EddyOS
Do you have Dolphin set to delete cache on exit? Personally, I never worry about the 'under the hood' stuff. If the phone works then I'm happy I do, however, run a very clean ROM and don't install everything I can so I don't have a lot clogging up the RAM anyway Edited April 27, 2011 by EddyOS

No cache is not deleted on exit...which I assumed was best. I don't really have that much stuff installed, at least I don't think it's much. But as an experiment I stopped lots of background stuff from running so that I got to about200 Mb free, I then opened Dolphin again and loaded a Flash page and it did exactly the same, remaining memory dropped to 26Mb (20Mb before) and still didn't clear when I closed Dolphin. Guest lufchigh
just to follow up on this...i reverted to 10.1 and everything is fine, so it is an issue with 10.2 for the moment i'm just sticking with 10.1 and i will see what happens when the next flash update is released
