I think all the apathy is very sad, this wedding is history in the making, the marriage of our future King yet all you can do is play with mobiles and take the P*ss. I for one thought it was a fantastic spectacle bringing in millions of tourist pounds, oh and I got the day off :mellow:

not wanting to get into anything too deep or meaningful, but from where im sitting, the royal family do naff all.
the government seem to make all the decisions on how the country is ran. i dont think i've ever seen the Queen step in to get things sorted.

no i didnt watch it.

all the money spent on keeping the royalty in the height of luxury could be better spent in my opinion

Over 24 million watched it... that a lot of people and shows a lot of people did give a hoot!

Didn't watch myself but glad therye happy, much rather watch the royal wedding than see Cameron f the British Public daily!

Anyway...

P.s. and Id also rather see money spent on royals than any more imagrants!

They probably bring in around the same amount that's spent on them in terms of tourism and merchandise etc.

i did not have the chance to watch it as I had to work (envy my english colleagues, who had a day off because of it), but even over here you could not escape the wedding on the radio, tv, newspapers.
probably would not have watched the full coverage anyways, but i think they make a cute couple!
