Can you tell me what native ROM this is based on? 1.08 or 1.09 or 1.10? Cheers.

Its from advent default kernel no from any rom.

Great job mate

any crashes at 1.5? im guessing it should be ok seeing as other tablets are clocked at 1.5 with same cpu

I have no crashes but dont do stress test.

What app are you using to monitor your temperature?

On Corvius ROM temp always 30.x degree.

I see background apps work fine in sleep mode!

But IM+ Push not work :o

Thanks Corvus another great bit of development work.

just a quick question, by the looks of it, the latest devwork boots in 1.5 gb, without cpu-setup to adjust the the mod, will it will stay in 1.5gb forever, this concearns me as it seems to be getting warmer as its used.

Push may work as allways, because this update only change kernel, so all apps must work.

Try to uninstall and reinstall app, or make a wipe, but think about other problem, because it is not kernel related.

It must use 1Ghz, this is what is kernel configured to, but i dont test it really... if someone can test it too with a fresh install...

Yes. All background/push apps (dont) work as Corvius5 kernel.

But thanx! Great rom/kernel for ViewSonic 10s.

I had not adjusted CPU speed nor had any apps installed to change it. Installed new kernel and it booted up at 1.5 GHz.

I don`t know if there is a difference between the ViewSonic 10s and the vega .

The background tasks have never worked in any of the rom / kernels.

( in sleep / stanby that is )

Great work Corvus - i'll sort out a donation when i next get paid.

I have just one question...

Does this new kernel enable the advanced wireless setting 'WiFi sleep policy'?

Or is it still not possible to enable wifi to sleep when in standby?

I have no problems manually disabling wifi when i put my Vega into standby if i don't want it enabled but it'd be handy if the sleep policy now worked.

Thanks.

warwound.

I dont know then... the source code is written to maintain 1Ghz by default, but could not work.
