Hi there.  I just got a new Liquid MT from Rogers and whenever I'm on the phone I can barely hear those who I am talking to.  Wondering if this is a common problem or not.   I tried to update to the newest 2.2 on the Acer site but it will not update the firmware due to the phone having this build number Acer_LiquidMetal_1.100.08_PA_ROGERS.  I'd like to figure out how to get the newest firmware on the phone to see if it will help with the extremely low volume.  And yes it was turned up to max.  The baseband is A4-01.13.01 and kernal is 2.6.29-perf if any of that helps as well.

Hi! I have the same problem, volume in calls is quite low, but I have metalouney 1.3 rom, based on 1.100.35.EMEA.GEN1.
What can I do?

I turned the Dolby Digital off but it is still very low and I have to have the hearing aid setting on in order to hear people.  Wish I could upgrade it as well to something else.  Gonna go talk to Tbaytel and see what they can do today.
