Hi, i am not technically minded at all so really need some help.

I have an HTC desire HD. I have turned it on this morning and for some reason it has gone to a boot menu. So i tried the recover option. This takes me to a red triangle, tried the volume up and power button but what ever option i try takes me back to the main boot screen. Anyone any ideas?

Hello, this may sound a bit daft but is the volume down key stuck?

The boot loader screen should only appear if the volume down key and power key are pressed.
