I've seen the rooting guide over on XDA forums, but I have one concern.

My CSC versions is CPW, as in Carphone Warehouse. It is a generic unbranded rom but for warranty purposes, how would I revert back to that?

Is there anyway to download the current firmware and kernel off the phone to revert back?

Cheers

I rooted, then updated to the newest KE2 firmware, which borked my phone, then went back to a generic FW (KE1) and it removed the root. If that's any help?

It's specifically the carphone warehouse CSC I need really, for warranty purposes. The default stock ones up for download don't have this.
