Wasn't too sure where to post this...

I bought one of these at christmas for my son, he wanted a vega tablet but they were out of stock everywhere, found this on ebay, only one of a few in the UK, well have since bought a vega for myself which has been promptly nicked by my son, so I've inherited this, I think we both did good out of the deal!!! price wise it was slightly more than the vega at the time £269, I seem to recall that it was cheaper than the imports and was located in the Uk not a china drop to the UK.

I was curious if anyone else has got one, I gotta say its a really nice tablet, screen is spot on, multi touch capacitive, no quirks to it, spec list is.....

1)CPU: Intel Atom N450, 1.66GHz

2)1GB DDR2, 160GB sata hard disk, ....."unit came with 1GB DDR2 have upgraded to 2GB, which is the MAX memory, but have read apparently that it will take upto 4GB but untested, also it only has 1 DDR2 sodimm slot not 2"

3)10.1 TFT LCD+Multi Touch Capacitive wide screen,1024*600pixel

4)High definition 1.3 Mega Pixels Camera

5)802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi ..."doesn't have bluetooth included, but am in the process of upgrading the mini PCI-e wifi card to include bluetooth"

6)G-sensor for display horizontal or vertical

7)3G Module: Support(optional);3G port Mini PCI - E ..."I dont have this option but has 2 mini PCI-e slots, one is for the mini Wifi card the other is to fit this card, has a sim slot under a cover on the bottom of the case already fitted"

8)Windows 7 Trial, Have upgraded to Windows 7 ultimate

9)Master Chip 945GSE+ICH7-M

10)Graphics types : Integrated graphics Intel GMA 3150

11)USB Port: 3xUSB 2.0 Ports

12)I/O ports

1x SD port

1x HDMI port

1x DC-IN

1x Mic

1x Earphone

1x Sim card port

13)Battery: Built in 3000mAh Li-battery

14)Battery Adapter

100-240v/50-60MHz

Output: 16-19V, 2.5-3.5A

Max. Power: 65w

15)Working time 160 minutes after full charged

16)Size: 290*150*20mm

Weight:1.2Kg(including battery).

Upgrading is really easy, 2 screws and the back slides off, Im planning to fit the GPS pci-e still looking into that at the moment and in the future possibly replacing the HDD with a SSD drive, battery power isn't the best with only a 3000mAh battery but not a big deal, Im interested to see if anyone else has got one, theres not a lot on the web in the way of forums, have installed Android x86 generic froyo 2.2 on it, which works but unfortunately wifi, and touch screen arent working at the moment, but since i intend to replace the wifi card im gonna try to get something compatible with the android builds, but im still learning my way on that. But this unit has great potential for dual booting Android and Windows.

Interesting, quite heavy tho?

P

weight figures make it sound heavier than it is, I don't know how accurate those weight figures are might get it on some scales, in practise its not seriously heavy, the weight could be reduced by removing the HDD and replacing with a SSD drive, that would reduce reduce the power needs and hence the possibility of a lighter battery but i dont know how well that would work out, but overall it's not too heavy.

But with the new wave of Windows tablets coming I thought I'd show this one off, Im pretty impressed, and im not easily pleased!!, the chinese market gets flooded with copies of copies which seem to miss the target but this is a really well built quality unit, I was surprised for the money, and my son aint getting it back!!!!

Ok well I've just stuck it on the scales comes in at just under 1.1kg, i reckon you could loose 100grams swapping for the SSD, lighter battery could loose equally the same in grams which would get the weight down nearly to that of the Tegatech V2 if you wanted, but the current weight isnt massive considering the build and spec inside it.

Hi

i have the same tablet ,i have if for 2 days now,and im really happy with it expect for one thing---the battery !

the battery life is just ridiculous...im wondering if its possible to upgrade the battery with a better one...ive read on some forums that it's a standard cell battery in a custom housing ..so maybe we can do something with it...whats your opinion?

Hi any progress with an SSD drive? My one is supposed to have 3G but it doesn't work. Other than that its a decent bit of kit for the money.

I bought one of these recently too, mine was a bit different, had a 320gb hard drive and 2 gigs of ram installed as well as windows 7 ultimate, I was curious about the 3g as well, this is my first tablet and I haven't found a way to get it to work, anybody have any luck with that?

Hi I am responding because I need to take the back of one of the same units to put the 3g module inside? You say just remove the two screw and slide off. It appears it has to be lifted or prised off. Can you confirm a little how you did this. I dont want to wreck it before I have started. Thanks in advance. Maurie

Just got to take the 2 screws out and it slides in the same direction you took the screws out, its surprisingly easy.

Just got to take the 2 screws out and it slides in the same direction you took the screws out, its surprisingly easy.

it requires about the same force as slidding the back off a phone once you remove the screws, I havent fitted an SSD yet, Im in the process of fitting a Broadcom Decoder card in the wifi PCI-e slot, the broadcom card lets the tablet handle 1080p HD videos cause the onboard GPU just cant handle it, it also decodes other formats including HD flash videos,

The tablet actually has 2 mini PCI-e slots one for the wifi card which i upgraded to a wifi card that has bluetooth integrated as it came with wifi only, the other slot is for a 3G card but that slot isn't true PCI-e its USB only and unfortunately the broadcom card needs true PCI-e and so does my current wifi card..

This is the same for many netbooks, on the eepc there are mods to enable full PCI-e function on the second slot, this may be the case with this one.

So the catch 22 is if you want to install the broadcom card you'll loose the wifi card, one work around is to buy a mini pci-e wifi card that is USB which are not easy to find, and I haven't found one that has wifi and bluetooth both using the USB lines, the other option is to start soldering lines to enable the true PCI-e if possible on the second slot which could FUBR your tablet or to use a mini wifi dongle and a mini bluetooth dongle in the external USB sockets using up 2 of the 3 usb's, since i use external HDD drives and an external DVD drive this would become a problem apart from having dongles poking out all over the shop

........ah..... but theres another way........ I really do want my cake and eat it......

I've bought a mini PCI-e to SATA/USB adapter

the broadcom decoder

a mini wifi dongle
post-886413-0-15329400-1311411507_thumb.

a mini bluetooth dongle "which i already had"
post-886413-0-21619400-1311412797_thumb.

and a mini usb hub "which i already had"
post-886413-0-51115700-1311412972_thumb.

basically what im aiming to do is to use the second USB only pci-e slot which is for the 3G addon to add a USB hub internally, the sata / usb card gives me a clean USB tap from the second slot rather than soldering on the board the Hub once removed from the plastic casing is a really small 4 port hub, i mean really small and easily fits internally it has an additional power socket also, this way I can install the mini wifi + bluetooth dongles on the HUB internally, i could strip down the dongles I may I may not it depends on the room inside, then I can use the first real PCI-e slot to install the broadcom card.

I have a few obsticles to overcome the first being whether the usb from the second PCI-e slot has enough power, not a huge problem to tap extra voltage into the hub , i dont think it will be a big problem with it's current voltage to run both dongles I'd thought about possibly installing a mini TV dongle internally in future which will need extra power and fitting a socket on the case for an external antenna.0

I know the USB works on the second PCI-e slot as I moved the current wifi card into the second slot, the bluetooth was detected fine as this part of the card uses the USB lines but the wifi which uses true PCI-e lines didn't get detected, PCI-e slot one is wired to run both true PCI-e and USB,

I could try activating the PCI-e lines so that the second PCI-e slot acts as the first "ie" with both true PCI-e and USB but to be honest this would involve soldering to points on the board if they are even there and potentially damage the board, Im a soldering master but it's so easy to damage a board regardless of your skills, my way is a lot safer and achieves the same result with greater possibilities for the future.

The other obsticle is that the first true PCI-e slot that the wifi card is currently in is only a half size mini PCI-e, the broadcom card is full size, the obsticle being the sim card holder that is soldered to the PCB mainboard gets in the way, this problem is self made really, you can get the latest broadcom card in a half size format, but I havent found any in the UK, all are abroad and expensive once you get them shipped, where as the full size are easily available in the UK and inexpensive I paid £20, I had considered the mobile 3G addon with GPS but to be honest the amount of times id use the internet on the go a little at work or maybe if im away an external dongle will do the job I could also install the dongle internally if I wanted so im gonna remove the sim holder this will free up the space so i can use a full size card in the half size slot, its not a major job to remove either, its mainly the metal surround that gets in the way.

This sort of mod sounds more complicated than it really is, i really dont want dongles hanging out of the tablet to get wifi and bluetooth once i use the true PCI-e slot for the broadcom card, i also get the option to add other devices internally on the Hub in the future, all out of the way internally.

I'll upload some pics of the finished mod, I really use the tablet for the internet and movies mainly HD ones, the tablet handles 720p ok' ish but puts the CPU and GPU under quite a bit of stress but thats intel GPU's, 720p flash videos don't work at all.

Hi all,

I just came across this topic after a google search because I just bought myself one of these little tablets. This was the only discussion I could find so I decided to join the forum so that I can participate biggrin.gif

I am really interested in having a play around with the insides and seeing if I can get more out of it. The one I bought was a 320GB HDD version with 2GB ram.

The only downside I find is the battery life sad.gif

Tweaking the power save options will help with battery life, I'd put it on a par with most netbooks in respect of battery life to be honest, fitting an SSD would help though.

I've just finished my mod and fitted a 4 port hub, installed both the wifi and bluetooth dongles, and the broadcom decoder card, haven't installed the drivers for it all yet taking 5.....it was quite tricky and took a bit of time, I didn't remove the sim holder, the broadcom card just catches the sodimm slot so removing the sim holder wouldn't make any difference, but it all fits in, it's not for the faint hearted, you can buy a 2 port Usb hub already on a mini Pci-e mini card, it comes in 2 bits, but I fancied the challenge.

I ended up using a Belkin Hub that i had as it was a little better shaped and the mini usb input socket was better placed but man those big USB sockets were hard to get off, I also stripped the dongles down but I have 2 sockets left for other stuff, but i'm not gonna fit the TV card inside opted for using an external USB socket, but got there in the end.

Has anyone had any issues with the HDMI out?

I have a cable, it seems to detect my tv, detects brand but then both displays go black, all settings appear to be correct, not sure what to do.

Wow sounds like you really got stuck in Klinux! I think i would be to scared to do all that. Have you tried to install a ssd yet?

What exactl is the sim slot for? Can it be used for internet connection over mobile networks?

Archael the same thing happened to me with hdmi. I especially bought a cable to connect it to my tv but all i got were black screens sad.gif

Well I got the mod up and running now, I had an issue with the mini wifi dongle, it was only a cheap thing, I've since removed it and replaced it with a edimax mini dongle that had an external antenna which I've mounted internally, all seems to be working great, as for the broadcom decoder card, I've installed XBMC which has great support for most things all in one, the thing with the decoder card is it only works with certain players, like media player, HD flash is supported but the decoder card isn't utilised by any browser so trying to view HD video from the browser results in poor performance and stuttering, XBMC has plugins for iplayer, youtube etc and fully utilises the broadcom card so i can now watch 1080p videos perfectly, the decoder wont help with games though.

I haven't started with the SSD mod yet, but now that I installed the mini USB/SATA converter card there are many possibilities I've utilized the USB pinouts on the second PCI-e slot but whether the SATA pins are wired im not to sure yet, possibly getting a USB mem stick connected internally as a cheap SSD option, I;ve yet to experiment to see if the bios in the tablet will fully boot an OS from the mem stick with the HDD removed, power wise this would be great, if I went the sata SSD route the drive would have to connect via the current hdd sata port this type of ssd would occupy most of the space in the hdd slot, It's a shame the SD card slot is for a full size SD card that sticks out of the unit, a mini sd slot would have been better, 32gig mini sd cards cost next to nothing though I could perform a mod to install a mini SD card on the HUB, ideally I want to remove the current sata HDD and install something smaller so I have more space for the internal mods I still have 2 ports available on the HUB, and ideally if i could move all my mods into the area where the HDD is that would be better all round, at the moment they are mounted on top of the main PCB above the CPU on double sided sticky rubber tape obviously so that things aren't in danger of shorting on the boards.

As for the HDMI output issues, I haven't tried to connect anything via the HDMI but I suspect it's a resolution issue between the tablet and tv and the lack of options in the intel GUI for the graphics configuration, damn intel GPU's, been having a look around on the net there are many similar netbooks and tablets with the same hardware setup ie chipsets "IntelRNM10 Express" and GMA 3150 GPU chips with HDMI (720P)+VGA output, without having tried the hdmi myself im working on theories and past experience, resolution issues may also be down to the TV your using, my understanding of the 3150 is the max resolution via HDMI is 1366 x 768 though this may have over and underscan problems, the HDMI port also has VGA output "switched wiring" you may get better results via VGA ie higher resolutions you may also be interested in the Sherry 1.3 driver which is a third party driver for the 3150 GPU, take a look here: Sherry 1.3.

I'l post a pic later of the finished mod

PS @ captaincaveman80...the sim slot is for using mobile 3g, the 2nd mini pci-e slot is intended for a 3g card that is connected to the sim slot, these tablets came in a few flavours with options one being with 3g and GPS you can get these cards on ebay cheap enough fully unlocked for any network.

Hi,

I think I've got the same tablet. It is a nice, little device. Some of the problems you describe I recognise. But I think I have solved them with less effort.

My tablet only had Wifi when it came. I replaced the WiFi card with a AzureWave NB041H, having both WiFi and Bluetooth. Both are working. I am typing this on a Bluetooth keyboard and if this messageappears on the forum it has been sent by WiFi. For the 3G functionality I had to add a 3G card (from Huawei). With a SIM card in the built in slot and the pci Huawei card I can start a UMTS session that is stable. I had to test several antenna's to find one that can pick up the 3G signal inside my house.

After ending the UMTS session I sometimes have to reboot the tablet because the WiFi connestion takes too long to reconnect.

Only real problem that I have (and that I cannot solve, I am afraid) is that the bluetooth doesn't recognise my stereo headsets. But I can live without stereo reception. For that I have a MP3 player and a phone that can connect to stereo headsets.

But if anyone has a good idea how to connect a stereo headset to this tablet, I will try it (just because it is possible).

I also installed the Azurwave wifi+bluetooth card, though i didnt try to connect a bluetooth headset, try this link you may need to update the drivers and install the bluetooth suite for windows 7 here:

Bluetooth Headset Help

I performed this mod because the second PCI-e slot that the Huwai card fits in is USB only and not true PCI-e, this is a common issue for netbooks for example the eeePC which also has a second pci-e mini slot needs 2 solder points shorting with a 0k resistor to enable full pci-e I decided not head down this road mainly because I wanted to add more USB points internally and add further devices.

The broadcom decoder card needs full PCI-e and so does a wifi+bluetooth card so i had a dilemma. I wanted to install the Broadcom decoder card because the GPU in the tablet doesn't do HD video just about does 720P badly, the decoder card also does other video formats taking the strain off the CPU and GPU, so I had to use slot 1 for this, meaning I couldn't use the wifi+bluetooth card since that also needs full pci-e, I could get a wifi card that uses USB but not a wifi + bluetooth mini pci-e card the azurewave card uses Pci-e for wifi and USB for the bluetooth, so what ever i did i was gonna loose something and rather than have unsightly dongles in the external USB sockets I set about using the USB from the second slot to attach a usb 4 port hub, so i could attached the 2 dongles internally, I also have 2 ports left for other things.

Next move is gonna be to fit an SSD just a side note for others who have asked about SSD's here, there are SSD drives on mini PCI-e cards that are for the eeePC these cards WON'T work in this tablets PCI-e slots, it's desighned for the eeePC and the like which have dedicated slots for these cards, the pinouts are not straight outs, just thought I'd put that out there before someone buys one!

When considering an SSD drive there are a few things to consider, read write cycles so how long it's gonna last, there are many types as with any new technology these drives get better and better, just consider how many times windows is caching or swapping something hmmmmm......

Windows 7 will detect am ssd drive when it's attached and disable certain processes to limit the number of of unnecessary write cycles, now we are taliking billions on a modern ssd but windows will do bad things to even that number 24/7 in comparison to normal cylinder HDD's if it's not kept in line.

Windows 7 is designed to work with ssd's, other windows OS's like xp and vista need things manually disabling to avoid undue writing to the ssd.

I'l update when I've installed the SSD.

Wow you guys are brilliant! Your giving me so many ideas and inspiration to try and mod this little tablet.

So I can buy a small pci card which will enable GPS and 3g and just put it in?

I am also having a little trouble at the moment...for some reason the sleep/hibernation feature is no longer working properly. When I put the tablet to sleep and wake it back up there is always an error message and then windows has to start normally. Also hibernation takes around 5-10minutes to get back into windows and i end up with a black screen for another few minutes before I can do anything else!

This has only happened recently and for no reason I can think of, before the sleep function worked perfectly and hibernation only took less than a minute to wake up. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

I have tried to restore the device back to its original settings by restoring the factory backup from the D: drive but the problem still persists mad.gif

Its really starting to annoy me now as its quicker for me to shut down and restart every time I use it rather than going into hibernation...

I would say that it might be a Graphics driver issue, as you say you've reinstalled windows 7 and the problem still persists, have you installed any updates for windows 7, it may be an update issue, I would also say stay away from windows driver updates particularly graphics drivers, try updating the graphics and chipset drivers directly from intel first, if that doesnt work try reinstalling windows without any updates, also check this page out.

Troubleshooting Hibernation

Well these Tablets seem to be getting popular, I was impressed with the build quality, touch screens are top notch, I also read elsewhere that the tablets are built by the company that build the iphone which explains the shape of the cases and quality,

I really thought when I bought it that it might be a bit cheap but im pretty impressed, I bought mine back in december off ebay from a seller who was importing them and had this one in the UK, at that time these could only be bought imported, I paid about £249 for it as I originally said it was for my son who wanted a tablet and the only real option was an ipad "LOL" for mega bucks which he'd probably drop or loose or the Vega tablet which does Flash 10.1 these were totally out of stock and priced at the same as this tablet so I got him this one, I've since bought a vega tablet for a lot less which he borrowed so I got this one which has worked out for both of us, he only does internet on the vega so its ideal for him, Android tablets are great but functionality beyond email internet is more tricky, even getting Divx etc to work is hit and miss and while they all say HD on them I haven't actually got any MKV videos working, sales gimmick I think, but then this tablet is agvertised some places as a HD tablet, which is not true because of the 450, 455 CPU with the intel 3150 GPU chips which wont do HD, 720 as I said works in stuttering mode, get a broadcom decoder card and it works flawlessly including 1080p

I've noticed that more and more UK and other regions are selling these in stock not imported at very good prices and are available with different upgrade options, the 3G option is a Huawai 7.2 Mbps HSDPA card which fits in the second PCI-e slot that utilizes the inbuilt sim slot under the small slap on the bottom of the case, since this sim slot is attached on the USB bus it may also work with external 3G devices. You'll need to check that the card is unlocked for any network and that it will work in your region and naturally works on the USB b us, Ericson also sell similar cards which probably are Huawai rebranded one's or at least some so I've read but you'll need to check if they are compatible.

As I said at the start of this thread these tablets either come with 1 or 2 Gigs of ram, having read a bit 2 gigs is the limit imposed by the chip set 4 gigs would need a 64bit OS and atoms aren't really designed for 64bit thats not to say they aren't 64bit compatible, there is also only 1 sodimm slot, some models have a 64GB SSD attached to the sata port or 160GB and 320GB sata HDD.

Wifi is 802.11 (N) bluetooth is also available on some, this upgrade is easy enough and achieved by removing the half size PCI-e wifi card and installing a Wifi+Bluetooth half size mini PCI-e card, Azurewave manufacture these which cost around £20 which have a broadcom chip.

Version 2 is also becoming available for these which have an upgraded Atom 455 CPU, and an increased resolution of 1366x768 currently the LCD panel is limited to 1024x600, it might be possible to update the EDID in the LCD panels of V1 to the new resolution of 1366,768, unfortunately intel graphics user interfaces dont allow for custom resolutions unlike ATI and Nvidia which can override the EDID settings. I will have a look into this at some point, still mod-ding my mod, when I've perfected the mod I will post a guide with the parts needed so others can do the same things.

It would be nice if Modaco were to start a dedicated section to these and similar tablets these tablets would be great as dual boot tablets, I have tried the generic versions of Android on it which almost worked perfectly, i managed to install 2 versions the first worked except for the touch screen the second worked with the touch screen but was very buggy and neither worked with wifi.

On the SSD front I've been looking into various formats available SDHC to sata was one but speed would be the issue and the maximum life cycle of SDHC cards wouldn't be great and cost wise coming in around the price of an SSD, the only benefits would be incredibly low power consumption, less space taken up and low heat.

Compact flash would be an option using a CF to sata adapter like with SDHC speed would be an issue on the lower speed cheaper cards and also life span could be an issue the faster and more expensive cards cost almost as much as a decent SSD so I think the best option is either a 1.8" or 2.5" drive either a 32GB or 64GB, the 1.8" would give a little room inside the unit for addons the 2.5 slips straight in.

Hi Klinux73,

You were right! My headset could be paired to this tablet. It makes me feel rather silly, because the problem was not in the tablet or the bluetooth, but in the headset.blush.gif

It is a Jabra Halo that is switched on by folding it to its normal shape and switched off by folding it into its transport shape. The folding mechanism with the built in switch is apparantly not reliable anymore.

Thanks for your advice!

I have tried to restore the device back to its original settings by restoring the factory backup from the D: drive but the problem still persists mad.gif

Its really starting to annoy me now as its quicker for me to shut down and restart every time I use it rather than going into hibernation...

I have no idea if it is the same problem, but I once had to wait a long time for the tablet to start up (not from sleep). Apparantly I had pressed the reset button by accident when opening or closing the case. So the clock was of and probably the BIOS gave an error message that I didn't see because my phone rang. When the phone conversation was over, Windows still had not completed its startup.

After it had started it gave some error message about Windows update not functioning. It appeared to be that the clock wasn't showing the right time.

After setting it, everything worked fine. No idea if your problem is the same, but it is an easy check.

Good luck!

Thanks for the link, I'll try and troubleshoot the problem a bit further and let you know the results.

After doing a system restore I didn't install any updates or software and tried out the sleep/hibernation function and the problem was still there, even after installing windows updates and driver updates through windows update it didn't fix anything. I will try and download the graphics and chipset drivers directly from intel like you said to see if that makes any difference, also my tablet came with a CD with the original drivers on so I will copy those onto a USB stick and give them a try too :)

Here are the specs on my tablet: ViewTab R116 - 10.2" Windows 7 Tablet PC - 1.66GHz Atom N455 Processor - 2GB DDR2 - 320GB HDD - Wi-Fi - 1.3MP Webcam - G-Sensor - Multi Touch Screen

and here is a link where I had it from : http://www.amazon.co...ref=oss_product

I have managed to find the processor driver but where do I find the graphics and chipset drivers? How exactly do I find out what parts are inside my tablet?

Please accept my apologies for sounding like a NOOB this is my first venture into mobile computing, I am more used to desktops and I built my current machine myself so I have a vague idea on how things work there but I am a bit nervous about this tablet business!

For those who may be interested (or don't already know) I have posted the instructions how to do a system restore from the backup included on the tablet. I am not sure if it will be the same for every model out there but for those who have the same one as mine it should prove useful:

----------

We copied a complete backup of Windows 7 in local D diskof your tablet (D:/MaxBak). If you still keep those backup files and yourtablet can boot as normal, then you can restore OS for your tablet without arepair disk.

HOW TO RESTORE

(1) Connect an USB keyboard to the tablet

(2) POWER ON

(3) When the tablet boots to image of "Windows BootManager", please use arrow key to select the option "MaxDos 8",instead of "Windows 7", then press "ENTER" to continue

(4) Next step, please select THE THIRD OPTION beginningwith the DIGIT "2", then press "ENTER" to continue (Thereare some Chinese characters, please NO WORRIES, just IGNORE them)

(5) Next step, please select THE FIRST OPTION beginningwith the LETTER "R", then press "ENTER" to continue

(6) Accept "Start (S)" to continue therestoring, it will take 10 - 15 minutes to restore OS in your tablet.

----------

I have tried to play around with other OS on the tablet, I tried out the Android x86 build which worked fine but with no touch screen capabilities, and I also tried out the Chromium OS build which worked but again no touch screen capabilities and I could not connect to the net and therefore not do anything! (LOL)

I would be very interested in getting other fully working OS on the device so that I could dual boot, and also I am very interested in fitting a SSD :)

So happy I found this forum...I was starting to wonder if I was the only person who had one of these tablets!

I bought this tablet as well took me several months to get it, but i did finally! The first one i got nothing worked in it so i sent it back 2 months later got a new one back, blue tooth, wifi, 3g, 2 gigs of DDR2 and a 500 gig HD. Actually quite like just got Diablo II and Warcraft III to play on it. But like all of you i have a problem and this is the first forum I have seen about this tablet. My problem is I cannot connect my 3G at all. I went to AT&T to get a SIM card but they want an IMEI number wich I have no way of getting I think PLUS i cannot get a seriel number either. Even after contacting the manufacturers in China, lot of help they where, I still cannot get it to work. I did use a Verizon 3G SIM card but could not connect to it, but it did detect it using there Globetrotter Connect software. Any Help or someone I can contact to get some help????
