Some of you may have used some of my themes to give a Gingerbread look on your phone, and now for ease I have combined them all with a ROM for a simple and one flash solution. The ROM used as a base is FLB r11b (the final/most up to date version) by Flibblesan. Nothing has been changed at a low level, but apps and theming have been improved along with a couple of set up tips to make it nice and speedy. This ROM is both Gen1 and Gen2, make sure you pick the right download. If you are having issues, see the post below this one before posting. Remember to backup apps and take a Nandroid backup first. I know a lot of the interest at the moment is for Gingerbread ROMs, but I think there's definitely still a market for good, stable Froyo ROMs. Especially if they look like Gingerbread...

Why did you use FLB as a base? Isn't it "discontinued"?
The reason I used FLB is because I have found FLB to be the most stable and efficient ROM, in my opinion. Although based on an older build of Froyo, FLB provides speedy Wi-Fi, excellent battery life, and an extremely fast and accurate GPS signal.
What should I use this ROM as opposed to the newer Swedish Spring or CyanogenMod 7?
Put simply, stability and aesthetics. This combines the speed, reliability and stability of flibblesan's FLB, with the aesthetically pleasing new look for Android introduced along with 2.3. Whether you just want a fast and efficient ROM or are setting up a Blade for a family member, I have, personally, found that FLB just works.
Are there any major bugs?
Aside from some bugs with root functionality and the standard Wi-Fi disconnect issue (this is improved through the addition of the Blade Wi-Fi fix app), there are no major caveats. The root functionality bug means that some root apps don't launch properly and just leave you with a black screen. This can be solved by using Task Manager to kill the app, or rebooting. EDIT: The original developer of FLB, flibblesan, has provided me with files to hopefully fix the root issue. This should hopefully all be sorted out in Version 2 of the ROM.
So are you continuing on where flibblesan left off? Is this FLB r12?
No. This is based on FLB r11b, and I am primarily a theme developer, but with an interest in creating my own custom ROMs. I really like FLB and it is an excellent piece of code, all credit here to flibblesan.
What else is included in JGM Software GingerFLB?
-Launcher Pro
-Browser with Gingerbread launcher icon
-Gingerbread themed contacts
-Gingerbread dialer
-Gingerbread GMail, gives you the Gingerbread notification icon as opposed to the Froyo one
-Gingerbread Settings, including Gingerbread icons for the Power Control Widget
-JGM Software Gingerbread theme
-Auto Killer Memory Optimizer (Conflicts? Choose the preset "System Default")
-Blade Wi-Fi fix (removed in V2 due to conflicts with other apps for some people, available here.)
-Includes Power Control Widget in notification bar. This can be removed by flashing the appropriate theme from the JGM Software Gingerbread Themes thread. (Removed in V2 as a result of theme change, will bring it back when I have time!)
-Nexus S Boot animation
Notes
-Set Transition Animations and Window Animations to "Fast" in Spare Parts to improve responsiveness.
-Set either the "Agressive" or "Ultimate" presets in Autokiller to increase the amount of free RAM. Usually I have around 200MB free through daily use. It's a light ROM.
-Download the Launcher Pro Icon Pack to get the full Gingerbread look. There are 2 custom dock backgrounds and the Gingerbread icons you need for a dock like the one shown.
-This ROM can be further customised by flashing the JGMS Gingerbread themes to achieve different battery styles.
-If you're currently on FLB 9 or above, this does not require a wipe, so you can install and keep all your apps and data. If you're coming from another ROM, you'll need to wipe
-Remember to pick the right ROM depending on if you have a GEN1 or GEN2 phone.
-In the lockscreen screenshot, I have changed the font of the clock. The font is called Segoe UI and a tutorial on how to do it is available here.

Bring back the power control widget
Flash this after you have flashed GingerFLB, and booted at least once. It will be integrated back into the ROM for V3 because it seems very popular.
