OK followed the instructions to update the Firmware.

Created a folder on the SD Card called "dload" and placed the two files in it "UPDATE.APP" "UPDATE_CUST.APP"

Turned on the phone while holding VOL+ and VOL-

I now have a pinky/purple screen

How long should it sit here before the update completes? Been around 30 mins so far!

OK Fixed it, using different Micro SD Card
