Hi.

Have tested some different ROM's for my Omnia i900, and have noticed that some of them is not any good regarding GPS function....
Have long time before find satelittes, weak signal and other problems.
So what are the best ROM for GPS navigation, regarding fast satelite lockup and accuracy?

I suggest Yonn Rom's!
and Ozi explore for GPS function!

You should try different radio, not rom. I think XBIC1 is best for gps. But also PUJA1 is good enough for gps and the battery last longer.

Hi, and thx for answers!

I have never flashed only the radio before, only full ROM I guess.
How could I do that, and when I look at the version at the phone, is it Phone version the same as radio?

Now I have tested a Yonn ROM, PDA version is i900XBIJ1/Yonn and Phone is version i900DXHJ1

At the first test with TomTom on this ROM the GPS lockup was fast, but the next time i started TomTom I could not get signal in several minutes.

I live in Norway, is it possible to find a good ROM for Nordic countries?

He he, I know.....      But I like it, so will try to make it a bit better with the right software.
And besides it is fun to try different things, and try to find the best solutions...

Radio and Phone, are the same. Here some of them: XBIC1, PUJA1, DXID1, DXIF1, PUIE1.
You can flash them like a rom. Find which one is best for you.
