Hi there, optimus black is out, and galaxy S got a price cut, i can get optimus for 299,90€ and galaxy S for 339,90 €

optimus wins in the price, flash in the camera, samsung wins with the gorila glass, costums roms.
And so on...

Can you tell me if the optimus black will be getting good feedback by the dev's making costums roms, fixing bugs and what so ever.

I have not noticed much support for Optimus Black yet, because it is very new and not released yet in the USA. It seems to be popular in Germany and there is a German forum that seems to have info, but i can't understand German so that's no use to me I don't think there are any custom roms.

I am very happy with my phone. I don't know if it has Gorilla Glass, but i have it always in my pocket and it will not scratch. Screen is still like new and i have no protection. The screen is very bright and awesome sharpness and colors. I always have brightness down to 50% except when i am outside. I can see very well outside with such a bright screen. It is also fast. Everything is instant and works great. All games play smooth, like Angry Birds. It's easy to root. Battery is ok, but i don't know what is good battery or bad battery because this is my first smartphone. But i can get 2 days without charge and that is with music playing, talking on phone, playing a little game and browse internet with both wifi and 3g. Phone is also cool looking and light.

If you want a popular phone with lot's of support and custom roms, Galaxy is better. If you want cheaper but good phone too, Optimus Black is great.

One question that i would like to get an answer is, "what is the difference between the graphics and the processor on these 2 phones, because both have 1ghz and the graphics have different names, and i don't really know which one is better

I don't know which type LG has, but the Galaxy has a PowerVR SGX540 which is pretty nice. I think the Galaxy has a more powerful GPU.

Lg has TI OMAP 3630 - 1 ghz with ARM Cortex-A8 and GPU: PowerVR SGX530. it`s almost the same with the Galaxy one

Ahhh thanks. All i know is, it's more then powerful enough for what i do. The games i have played all play smooth without any drop in frames. I can't see how having a more powerful GPU will do anything except use more battery. Only reason i see having more power is playing Unreal engine games, but i play those kind of games on my PC anyway
