Diet Stir Fry

Diet Stir Fry is a lite/diet/scimmed... version of Ginger Stir Fry Beta5 for all who dont like the full-phat jumbo meal its become.
It will easily fit on  (gen2) blades with 128mb system partitions so dont worry.
Heres a list of everythimg I deleted:
  • the included launcher (replaced with launcher pro)
  • Alarm
  • Stopwatch
  • APNmanager
  • Goggles
  • Docs
  • Translate
  • Facebook
  • Flashlight
  • Chess
  • Solitaire
  • Books
    [/list
    And the things I added:

    [list]
  • Spare Parts Plus
  • CM7 Music Player
  • CM7 Deskclock
  • AppWidgetPicker
  • And of course: The CRT animation
In version 2.0.1, which is based on beta5 of gingerstirfry I removed the theme wbaw included and replaced it with the default framework.
I also removed the included Dailer because it didnt work right on my phone and replaced it with the ZTE Dailer. Please flash the CM7 Dailer addon for the CM7 dailer.

Is the CM7 dialer and contacts addon compatible with the generic wbaw's GSF?

Hey iKrautDroid
Kudos on getting the CM7 dialler working in your ROM!
I think this should do me now until CM7 gets Bluetooth working.

Cheers, Paul

Good stuff, thanks.  Just wondering if there is a simple way to stick themes on...green brings me out in hives like any self respecting rangers fan...and launcher pro themes only theme the Widgets/icons I think.  Would flashing the theme Chooser zip work or am I out of luck?  Been using cm7 and green so long I've forgotten if there's another way to do it!

10/10

You've got this ROM perfectly right - by first looks. Will use today and give more feedback. But it's snappy as base ROM and it's lite as it says on the tin :) Makes the use so much more comfier and speed is what makes the whole experience worth! I will report battery soon.  Thanks a lot for sharing this!

One request: Any chance of being able to add 'blacklist' feature that CM7 has? I know there are apps, but CM7 blacklist doesn't even let the phone ring once! But rest of the apps let it ring once which to me defeats the purpose of 'blacklisting'

I own a Windows Phone 7 now and I love it more than anything that my finger have touched. Yes, 'anything' ;)
Hint: HTC Eternity

Sorry for the idiot question, but does "blades with 128mb system partition" mean this will work on a Gen 1 phone ?

As said in the topic name, this is gen2 only!
Consider updating with wbaws tpt upgrade.

A totally secondary thing: have you enabled the CRT animation? I saw a "how-to" in another thread, just don't know if you have already done it.

Best,
M
