Ive had it for a day now, updated from 2.21 to 2.3 through kies.

Im now wanting to root it and upgrade to the CM7 roms like i did on the blade via clockwork mod, Loved trying different nightlies all the time.

How do i do it? ive downloaded odin and kies.

Ive read loads of guides but nothing seems that clear to me, any help please?

Presume you're running stock gingerbread (2.3.x) without any lagfixes or whatever in whichcase:

You need to revert to a froyo rom via ODIN (including a repartition) before trying CM7.   CM7 requires froyo bootloaders to function properly hence the reason you need to go back a step.  

Once you've done that, you'll need to root your device (z4root or something similar) if it isn't pre rooted.  Then use Rom Manager from the market to do the rest?  The hardest part (and most dangerous) is using ODIN and repartitioning your phone.
