What I have seen in reviews elsewhere was a mix of bad and good points... I suggest you take a look at the ASUS TF101 Transformer (also called Eee-Pad), this one has really good reviews everywhere, for a similar price .... (prefer a bundle with the dock/keyboard)

know that with the 3.1 android update, many issues have been solved (no more disconnected dock for example...)
I'm personnaly really pleased with this tablet, as are the people I know having tested it.

(...) I’ll just say this off the bat - I’m not very enthused by the Iconia A500. The design is a bit dated, and there are a lot of minor quality niggle(...)
