Phone function - occassionally with below error

("the process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again") and with no signal.

anyone has this above error, any solution ? thank in advance

note : i did some google , but no much of solution , i look related with sim card and network compatiable

:Dell streak running 2.2 stock version rom.

version 1.6 and 2.1 , it does not have this problem too.

Turn off your auto sync. That usually stops the problem, but when you on it, it's back.

Not a longterm solution, i know.

Others got better idea?

This usually happens to me when a call is dropped - caller calls back immediately and my phone is seemingly locked (black screen but backlight on) as it's deciding wether or not to display the "slide to answer"

This is my major complaint about the Streak because my iPhone NEVER did that. I LOVE my Streak, but that issue single handedly makes me want to go back to CrApple :-(

me too , love dell streak > iphone ..... , many kind of mod ROM ready to use.

or anyone or me will try other kind of ROM version , see the problem will happen again ?

I see this issue in the same scenario as alpha k7 - if a call drops or when using call waiting and the person on 'hold' hangs up the phone becomes unresponsive for 30-60 seconds. Love it if anyone has a solution.
