Just got my HTC Sensation, being my first android phone Iv got a couple of questions.

First, how do i know if its connected to the internet though my wifi or data plan?  

Is there a way to sync the Sensation with Itunes (on a Macbook)

no idea on the itunes question, never used it

on the connection tho, you will see several bars in addition to your reception bars if you have wifi uplink, otherwise u'll see something like E, R, G, 3G or H - depending on your SIM/operator

to know if its connected through wifi, this symbol, or similar will show:

if you are using your data plan, the following symbols will show:

the letters show what type of data is being used

3G= 3g
H= HSPA
