Guest Bonoobo
Hi there ! First of all, congratulations for this brand new FR19 ROM ! Anyway, does someone encounter the same issue as mine ? I can create new accounts based on Exchange protocol but once it is configured and saved, it remains active only few minutes and disappears :) I have tried several times but unsuccesfully. Is there something I am doing wrong ? Thanks in advance for your help. Bonoobo. Version : LGP990-V10c-20110622 Baseband 1035.21_20110622

Version : LGP990-V10c-20110622 Baseband 1035.21_20110622 I am using Exchange for my corporate email account, and do not have any issues on 622 and FR19. Sorry but cannot replicate the problem you are experiencing :/ I am not the best at using ADB, but maybe you could try deleting the Email APP and pushing it on again, perhaps someone with ADB experience can give a small tutourial?
Guest stonehz
No problems here as well :) I also have FR19RC2 - 622 Baseband with Email (LG Version) installed. My only limitation is that I can only have 1 exchange account  Any suggestions (or other clients that support more than one.. e.g K9Mail)? Guest Bonoobo
Hi all Thanks for your answers... even if it does not solve my issue. I have removed AOSP Email and replaced it by LG Application (I do not really like it but looks like I have no choice :) ) It seems to be running good for the moment. If problems does not happen, then something is working wrong between Accounts and AOSP Email 2.2.2 in this ROM version. Thanks again.

For that very reason I use the stock android e-mail application, it allows you to have multiple accounts. I never could get the LG Email app to properly work with my backend, which is a Zarafa/Z-push setup (Microsoft Activesync protocol.) Up until 622 it would only receive push-mail once, then stop. The 622 version works well with push-mail, but deleting mail only deletes them from local storage on the phone, not from the server. The stock client deletes properly as well. I've read several reports of accounts disappearing, which I've never seen myself fortunately. The easiest way to fix it would be to make a titanium backup, factory reset, restore all user apps+data, and configure the e-mail accounts anew. ::Trym

Seems to be the apps problem nothing to do with R19 etc Now i've just installed BB 622, CWMod & R19... Froyo email app setup again ok with 2 accounts, will report back if it forgets these again. Guest stonehz
I got the same problem!!! When I was using LG Email APP, everything was working fine (with 1 Exchange Account which is the limit) I then switched to Stock Froyo Email App (Installed in /system/app + hoping to setup 2 Exchange accounts) and I cannot keep any of them.. they vanish all the time. I googled and it appears to be a known problem: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=4980 BTW, K9 Mail is working fine with the accounts but you cannot have : 1) Hotmail Exchange 2) Contacts and Calendar from your Exchange Accounts  I will try to cook another rom (FR19+BS622) with Stock Email pre-installed and see if it will be fixed :)
