Unsuccessful unbrick

Hi, I was following instructions at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...ighlight=rogers to bring my stock Rogers Dell to Android 2.2.

The first part went well and I was at AT&T 1.6 (build 6601).

The second part didn't go so well. I downloaded QDLTool from http://streakdroid.com/modules.php?name=Do...nload&cid=2 and followed the 2 swf instructions (I am on Win 64-bit).

My machine recognized my Dell Streak and I clicked Run. It only ran for about 80 seconds ... the instructions said it should run 3-4 minutes and there weren't any errors that I can see. My Dell Streak now just boots to Dell logo.

So I searched around and I found a post talking about unbricking using StreakFlash http://android.modaco.com/content/dell-str...visible-to-usb/

But again the flash process only takes 80 seconds ... no error that I can see and no luck. It should take about 5 minutes from what I have read.

What am I doing wrong ? Thanks.

Oh and I tried flashboot clockworkmod and streakmod ... and then entering recovery mode with Update.pkg on my SD card. Entering recovering mode just goes to black screen.

Enter Dells recovery, option 2 to get into clockwork/streakmod then press the power button to "unhide" the menu. Sorry you probably know this

Sounds like whatever image / PKG your flashing is either corrupt or incompatible with your current Streak build. Sorry I know very little about unbricking as I have (thankfully) never bricked my streak.

You could try using the QDL tool with either AT&T 1.6 package or your stock carriers. Maybe best to wait until someone more knowledgeable answers your post :)

Also have you tried a Dell factory reset? / Dell PKG upgrade? Both can be found in stock Dell recovery.

Try aa factory reset first, often fixes the Dell logo boot-loop
