Guest Paul Posted July 15, 2011 Report Share Posted July 15, 2011 This is the Amazon Appstore APK patched to allow larger downloads than before over cellular connections. Rather than being limited 20MB, the limit is now configurable to 250MB in the Settings menu. No more waiting until you get to a WiFi connection to download that hot new free game of the day! ;) Due to some integrity checking carried out as part of the Amazon Appstore DRM, you can't just install this APK in the normal way. In order to use it, first uninstall your existing Amazon Appstore, then copy the APK to the /system/app directory. This is necessary because the original certificates are retained and the changes i've made break the signatures (mandating installation in /system rather than /data).
