Problem with my screen (omnia 2 gt-i8000)

Really need some help over here..Recently my phone started giving me problems with the screen not responding properly whenever i tap the screen.It seems that only the half right side of the screen is responding and whenever i tap anything at the left side,the right side will respond.Am i having this problem because of the screen itself or something is wrong with my data somewhere in the phone?.

Already tried re-calibrating but still the problem is there..

Its a great phone and a happy to own 1 but with these problems its kinda frustrating..

The only way to make sure that there is no screen hardware problem is to format your device, after the formatting you may get your phone OK, otherwise you need to change the touch panel ...
