AT&T Q9h US Network Signal Completely Gone

I have an AT&T Motorola Q9h (says AT&T on battery cover and when booting. I also have a data plan from AT&T. I bought the phone unlocked on ebay and figured out through forums how to complete GPRS, Proxy setting, etc. Phone worked great for 14 months. During that time I have never added any applications--3rd party or otherwise. I never use the radio and always delete any photos I take with the camera. I still have substantial memory and ROM available.

2 months ago I sent it to the 3rd party warranty company for repair. The phone signal (usually EDGE) become unstable and I was usually without a signal for most of the day. When my phone was returned it was lightening fast, and I was getting great 3G reception.

Two days ago my phone began constantly restarting itself and remaining on the green Windows Mobile screen for about 10 minutes before restarting again. I checked the GPRS setings and ATT.net and MediaNet are both locked and cannot be changed. In the network area the setting options are all gone now and the only option is setup. Of course with no phone signal it cannot access the settings. I keep getting the error message: a wireless radio must be attached to this device to use the phone whenever I attempt to make phone calls. No email, MMS, syncing, IM, internet access is possible. It just tells me to check my connection settings.

In the wireless manager area, the turn phone off or on option is now missing and only the Bluetooth off or on option is showing. No sigal bars or 3g icon on the home page.

I have done a master clear and master reset 3 or 4 times whenever the phone finally does reboot. I have removed and replaced both the bater and sim cards with no change in signal status. There is nothing I have done to physically damage the phone - and all Outloook and Messenger Live syncing is done OTA (over the air) rather than linked to my PC via USB cable.

The only thing I have a problem with is phone buttons get randomly pushed when the phone is in my pocket or purse.

Help. What could have knocked out my phone, network and #G signal overnight without any other pre symptions or warning? The phone was working fine when I turned off the alarm in the morning . By the time I showered, dressed and packed my lunch, it had degraded to the above description.
