Hi guys,

Up until recently I owned an Advent Vega but build quality of it and the general performance of it was getting to me. So I've now bought a Galaxy Tab (P1000) from someone on gumtree and would like to know the best place to start with the tablet.

Should I leave the custom rom that is already on there (previous owner has the rom installed) or revert it back to factory?

Much appreciated if anybody could enlighten me with their views... cheers!

If it's a custom rom, do a nandroid...

Then trash it and stick a gingerbread build on it!

I'd give the Overcome Experience a whirl, if you don't like it, you can go back to stock 2.3.3/4.

Yeah, I gave up waiting for a new Modaco ROM for the GT.. now on Overcome and I have to say I like it a lot..
