de-oranged r8 and Texts

Hi

I installed the de-oranged r8 ROM on my ZTE-Blade after rooting it. Everything worked fine for a good few weeks and three days ago it stopped sending texts. The network is fine, I can reviece texts, use the phone to make and recieve calles and go online/send mail etc. Is this a known issue with the de-oranged ROM? do I have to reinstall it? I have no clue.

I am a linux user (PC) but know little very about Android
