testing this rom since yesterday, its nice all round rom but the down side for me is the calibration for some reason, keeps mis-typing or does`nt react and also incoming calls displays persons name but very faint in the background......UK Racer

i think if you have racer it would have been 2.1 stock rom when you first got it? which makes it a gen1, maybe you should have installed the "recovery-clockwork-4.0.1.4-mooncake-gen1" instead, to get into recovery anyway turn off phone wait afew seconds then press and hold vol- and then press power button once whilst still holding vol- if that dont work you`ll have to flash the gen1 (recovery-clockwork-4.0.1.4-mooncake-gen1)

Yes. Stock rom was 2.1. But i haven't noticed that by mistake. I have tried holding Vol- and power button, but it doesn't work. When i open Recovery Manager application, it shows "the application recovery manager has stopped unexpectedly" and it force closes. What to do now ?

it wont work just thought to try anyway, your phone still boots and works which is a good start, basically you must be rooted already to install a custom rom so

1. Download recovery-clockwork-4.0.1.4-mooncake-gen1 from here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7D1V2SRB , rename it to "recovery" and copy to the root of the sd card

2. Open terminal emulator on apps menu and type "su" and hit enter (this will give super user to the emulator) and after that type "flash _image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img" and you should be fine. once done turn phone off and wait 5 secs, press and hold vol- and press power button once whilst still holding vol- you should now have the proper version of clockwork recovery installed

thx to Dj Fluminee for the instructions

Yes that is the link from 4pd.

I like the calibration it is better than #152.You can instal new rom like update without cleaning data.

thx, the calibration is definately better but not as good as uk3 stock rom although as i remember the stock 2.1 rom was not perfect either or maybe its me and my big thumbs and we are asking to much for perfect calibration, the notification bar has been fixed aswell, lets hope battery life is as good as 2.3.4 v1.88 and 2.3.5 #152 will report back on battery.....

EDIT: if phone is tilted to the right the screen judders and graphical tears appear this only happens on the desktop not on menu screens, same happened in a 2.3.5 rom from malshenzu so i think its a cyanogenmod fault in latest build, no big deal really as i tilt phone to the left anyway lol

The calibration is defenetly better but as you say we wont to much. This is a cm7 for blade and it is a great achivment to put on a racer.

+1

without the guys who made cyanogenmod and other groups who port them from the Blade for the Racer and have spent alot of there own time and done a bloody good job we`d all be still on 2.1/2.2 stock and i think i prefer being on custom roms with slight imperfections here and there that can be modified in time
