Guest Jaime Fonseca
Hello, Does anyone know how to change the carrier name?? Is there a file that can be added or altered to change the carrier name?? In Portugal, the stock rom appears as "TMN", but when we installed a custom rom starts to appear "National Mobile Telecommunications," which is very unsightly. Thanks

Guest fjsferreira
Many thanks simplistian, I will try it! Later I'll give you a feeback! Thanks Forget about it, this file only lists apn configurations for a bunch of networks... I'm in the same boat, TMN is shown as "telecomunicacoes moveis nacionais", wtf? Editing eri.xml file and using apps don't work either...

Thanks Hello All data TMN is in the CUST_DATA in the Bootloader /cust_backup/image/ , here we see the boot.img (kernel), recovery.img, 2 boot files and the /cust_data folder. I deleted the cust_data in all ROM's and if I see in purpure screen the bootloader storage, it is'nt there. Now I have no TMN data not at all. But I see always "Telecomunicacoes Moveis Nacionais". I think it is in the firmware not in ROM's. May be only if we umblock the X5 of tmn ...
