Orange regrets to inform you that their network will be going down in 1 hours time for all users apart from yourself. This is because nothing would go down on you, not even a network!

I originally rooted my SII with Odin and SuperOneClick. I'm assuming I need to root again using the appropriate CF-Root kernel to get ClockworkMod Recovery, before baking?

once its rooted. you should just be able to just flash new software using clockwork mod. won't need to use odin again. that's surely for getting an initial root sorted for flashing.

might be wrong though

Yes, just flash any CF-Root Kernel.

Copy the baked ROM (.zip file) to the internal SD.
Reboot in to Recovery (CWM) and go to install update from SD.

Also best to do a factory reset from with CWM Recovery before installing.

No problem.

Forgot to mention, any CF-Kernel will do because this ROM "Include a customised version of CF-Root"

Interesting, does this mean I can use a more up to date kernel than my current - XWKE7?

Ok, re-rooted and installed a baked rom. Only issue I've spotted is that when a call comes in, I have to swipe to view the number (the taskbar is highlighted in green). I'm using Launcher Pro and have a password lock on the phone, if that makes any difference.

I have this rom (used the kitchen) on my phone and love it.

Just today, I tried installing the Galaxy Nexus boot animation on it. Didn't work. (Yes, I wiped the Dalvik first). Does this Rom/Kernal support bootanimation.zip ?

Hi, I'm just wondering...

I run Cyanogenmod 7.1 on my GS2 - would it be possible to install the Samsung apps onto this or must I use only the stock Android such as in here in order to use them? I'll like to get some of the Samsung apps

Thanks in advance.
