What ever happened the the optical zoom using membrane technology that was being tested a couple of years back? That's what we'd like to see, or the side ways optical that some rugged cameras have. Posted August 13, 2011 Report Share Posted August 13, 2011 Its not the tech, its what you use it for. 3D has a place in future personal communication devices, but quite a few years beyond where we are now. Its role is in augmented reality and integrating information, control and the real world. Guest twins.7 Posted August 15, 2011 Report Share Posted August 15, 2011 3D??? hey, I'm mobile. and 3D will drain my battery fast. it is better if you can add real digital camera to smartphone. not only has a big MP but lack in quality.
