Guest dave lowe Posted August 15, 2011 Report Share Posted August 15, 2011 Hi, Last night I managed to flash my HTC desire and install a Gingerbread Rom on it - have to say I'm very happy with it - looks and feels much slicker than Froyo - particularly viewing the gallery. The only questions I have are around email - firstly I don't seem to be getting new mail notifications anymore - if i manually check the email via the email application i can see new mails but i dont get taskbar notifications - I have set up the mail account to display them but its not working.] secondly i dont have the email application anymore that was available to place on a particular desktop and showed all mails from your default account - i am guessing that this is part of htc sense so i wont be able to get that anymore - if this is the case does anyone know of any alternatives? cheers dave Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
