Has any1 managed to spoof mac adress. I can spoof it on my neibours Galaxy S 2 with no problem, but zte racer says operation not allowed.

Can some1 with 2.3 or 2.2 rom try to run this command :

busybox ifconfig wlan0 down

busybox ifconfig wlan0 hw ether 00:00:00:00:00:00

busybox ifconfig wlan0 up.

thx in advance. It seems that 2.1 rom has limited wifi drivers.
