Guest cpomd Posted August 28, 2011 Report Share Posted August 28, 2011 after a lot of browsing and a holding of breath I managed to root using Superoneclick. Filled with enthusiasm i backed everything up with Titanium and downloaded ROM Manager. This is where i stumbled the recovery image seemed to install OK but when I tried to Backup ROM the Phone switched to T-Mobile Logo and froze. The only way out was to remove Battery. This is my first Phone ever and i bought it for its GPS more than the Phone but its very addictive with all those apps and the possibility of improving the operating systems. If anyone could suggest a way round my problem and perhaps point me to possible Custom ROMs I would be very grateful. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I tried yet again to run ROM Manager and was successful this time!! perhaps because I disconnected USB Cable. Anyway it seemed to work OK but finished off with a Message that it couldnt backup ext sd partition?? My question now is, is it normal? should I be concerned? and if all OK what ROMs to try?
