[mistermentality]

Tried connecting my stock Optimus 3d (can't root or mod it as it's on a 2 year contract) to my Windows 7 laptop and I put it into usb storage mode so I could copy music over to it via the usb cable.

I have an sd card so I copied the files over to the sd/external sd folder and it showed it was copying but the files do not show up on the phone nor using the non root version of the explorer app even after rebooting.

Yet when I connect the phone to the laptop in storage mode Windows does show them, so why is it Android cannot see them at all nor the folder yet Windows can? Is annoying having to copy the files one at a time via a wireless file manager when usb mode should work fine.

Any advice or info appreciated, thanks
