I doubt we will get anywhere with it, Orange say they ask ZTE for the codes but ZTE said I have got some disappointed information from our developing engineer. The Unlock algorithm of OUK SKATE is supplied by Qualcomm. The provied us a package file to generate the 16-bit random number. Flash with the unlock-ROM is our only method to unlock the locked device. Which clearly can't be the case if they can be remote unlocked... It's their only way without knowing the random#. If Orange don't share that # with ZTE then they really can't compute the code. The really good news is confirmation it's possible to flash a ROM instead... now we need either a leak or some high power reverse engineering.
