DONT USE THE ROM MANAGER, RACER IS NOT SUPPORTED FOR IT, USE "RECOVERY MANAGER" (this installs clockwork recovery thus enables you to backup your existing ROM and install custom ROMS) is your phone rooted? if not use this HERE UniversalAndroot_1.6.1 copy to sdcard and install through file manager or similar install this HERE, this is the latest version of "recovery manager", copy to dscard and installed through file manager or similar on phone, now your phone is rooted and has recovery manager installed you can install clockworkrecovery HERE copy to sdcard, open the RECOVERY MANAGER app on phone (app menu) allow permission if asked, goto recovery tab and you should have 1 file called "recovery-clockwork-4.0.1.5-mooncake-gen1.img" select it and will install your recovery (CWM) now try this, turn off phone wait afew seconds then press and hold vol- and then power button once whilst still holding vol- if installed correctly you`ll have clockwork recovery menu......if successful make a backup straight away and then you can explore the world of custom ROMS..........if your still having problems let us know and we`ll suggest another solution for you........ WoW i made it thnxxx time to flash some roms by the way what is the most stable and touch sensitive rom now ? Guest Racerboy Posted September 13, 2011 Report Share Posted September 13, 2011 WoW i made it thnxxx time to flash some roms by the way what is the most stable and touch sensitive rom now ? the 4pda ROMS are quite good, latest version is on the 1st post HERE, other ROMS from 4pda are in the thread on different pages, for me the best overall is 4pda #176 and #175 (best battery and screen calibration, their are other ROMS from our chinese friends HERE which have excellent screen calibration but battery life is lacking, as with all ROMS you gotta try them for yourself and see, make sure you follow the instructions on how to install a ROM on 1st post of 4pda thread above, it applies to all ROMS you ever install Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
