Just wondering why a Skate is better than a Defy apart from the screen size

Skate isn't better other than screensize. Defy has a better 800mhz cpu that can overclock to 1.3ghz stable. Defy is a great phone with cm7.

I have heard its hard to unlock and expencive is that true?

the bootloader is never truly unlocked, its more of a case of booting an unlocked bootloader from the locked bootloader!

its £225+ for a defy, not sure about defy+, but both absolutely destroy the skate in every way except screen size.
