Hi,

Use this setting:

Settings --> Personal --> Display Settings

Brightness --> Advanced mode

Light Levels --> Use custom ON

Light Level to dim --> set 20 (default)

And Voilà problem fixed.

Works in Miui v1.9.2 and v1.9.9.
