1. What is the best firmware at the moment for X10 ?
2. What is the best rom at the moment for X10 ? (Personally I liked MIUI from tripnriver 1.8.9 I think)

1.use baseband 71.
2.do u have unlocked bootloader?
2a.if yes use doomkernel v5.
2b.if not then u are on stock.
3.every miui rom is well,as newest version camed the rom is better.u cant make mistake.

...now ? is for what u need rom.gaming.social or internet usage.

my suggest is rendiero2005 v02 rom,,its miui rom but with custom launcher.:-)

I like tripn 1.8.2 but I also saw there 1.9.9 by erenz.
renderio 2005 v2 is also based on miui 1.9.9 or newer ?

use not overclocked one, because oc kernel have fail start(device will not boot)

...ok ..u have log for renderio v02, i think is 1.9.9, sorry i forgot:-)

My phone starts also with oc v5, but I have better scores with non-oc in linpack.
Also which version fxp or non-fxp. (What is this fxp and what is the difference between them ?)

Here it says for Stock ROM which is non-FXP and for CM7-FXP which is FXP rom.
miui is based on stock rom ? with what is different cm7 than stock rom ?

Hi mate it's down to ur personal taste.

I use MIUI roms, as I hate the look of the stock or CM roms. but other ppl would say the same about MIUI.

and then u have to chose the kernel as well, you go keep the stock one or install a 3kernel or doomkernel, and it's up to u if you wanna risk it and unlock ur BL or not.
