I bought an iphone-compatible headset for my MT, with the hope of it being compatible (as the MT is not compatible with "standard" TRRS pin headsets). Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case. The sound is working as it should, and the button for play/pause seem to be working most of the time (though I'm not able to skip tracks with a fast double-click). The mic, on the other hand, is not not working at all. Depending on how fast I plug in the headset the phone seem to either detect a mic in the headset or not. Are any of you using an iphone-compatible headset with your MT? Does the mic work for you? Thanks! Guest Frojd Posted October 7, 2011 Report Share Posted October 7, 2011 Update on my issue: Never got it to work with either the AIAIAI headset I bought nor the original iphone 4 headset.
