People move on, that's life.
If you thought you could keep relying on Trip for the rest of your life, you must be having a pet unicorn and live under a rainbow.
Get over it, there are more devs here and you could still use his old ROMs and maybe try to start working on them yourself.

Only advice that can be given:
Become familiar with Linux, coding, various programming languages.
Mod a ROM
Port a ROM
Build apps
Develop ROMs for personal use
Release ROMs and take criticism
Build from there.

All that you can do. That's what many others and myself are currently doing.

Pursue the things you desire in life while assuming that no one else will.

If you can't/don't have the disire to do so....buy whatever device Trip is developing for, and follow him for the rest of your life.

If all else fails, be miserable for being reliant on others.




Google is your friend. Accept the friendship and search to your heart's content.
