I got my Atrix last week, but so far battery life has been terrible. Today for example it has been 6 hours since i took it off the charger and I'm below 15% charge.

How is the battery life in your devices?
Did I get a bad one?

I've only been using my Atrix for a couple of days but battery life is much better than that. I think it went down around about 50% over a 12 hour period yesterday but that did include downloading around a dozen apps from the market via 3G. Otherwise, just a few texts and short calls.

HOWEVER, I should mention that I've unlocked, rooted and installed CM7 so my experience will be different to the stock ROM. CM7 is still in an early (yet very stable) beta so I expect battery life to improve a good deal in the future.

I understand that MotoBlur is a bit of a battery hog. I'd recommend checking out the very busy Atrix sections on XDA where I am sure you will find lots of hints and tips to improve battery life, whether or not you decide to unlock the bootloader and install custom ROMs.

2 days here so far. Only had it for a week on T-Mob.. Medium Usage. Heavy usage can go in a matter of hours. I.e Playing Games etc..

i got the juicedefender app, that seems to add a few hours
