Guest Navie
I want to buy a 8GB micro sd card, i've checked on E-bay, some are 'micro SDHC' cards, will this work in the Skate? I am currently using a 'micro SD card'...not a 'mirco SDHC card', what is the difference? Thanks.
Guest tillaz
i think HC just stands for High Capacity i also am looking to buy a 16gb thinking of getting this. http://www.ebay.co.u...#ht_2429wt_1270 found this might help http://androidcommun...ed-to-know-787/ think for 8gb i would go with this http://www.ebay.co.u...#ht_2429wt_1270 (LIFETIME WARRANTY) Edited September 27, 2011 by tillaz
Guest Chris_67
You can have (micro)sdhc-cards with less than 4GB, but you can't have (micro)sd-cards (non-sdhc) with more than 4GB. That's because sd-cards are formatted with FAT16 (which can't address more than 4GB) while sdhc-cards are formatted with FAT32 (a filesystem that can address up to 32GB). The next step towards larger capacities is sdxc, which can address up to 2TB. These cards will be formatted with exFAT.

Guest
If you want a fast, high qaulity sd card, I would go with this 16GB samsung plus class 10: http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/21373672/Samsung-16GB-Plus-Micro-SD-Memory-Card-Class-10/Product.html Or the 8GB one: http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/21373671/Samsung-8GB-Plus-Micro-SD-Memory-Card-Class-10/Product.html?searchtype=allproducts&searchsource=0&searchstring=samsung+plus+class+10+&urlrefer=search Edited November 2, 2011 by Guest

Guest dadashi
there are some big ebay memory sellers with good writeups...just have to read through and find the correct sellers.. SO, nobody tried 32GBs with their skates yet...?
Guest unrandomsam
The Lexar class 6 32GB works on the blade. (I find it unlikely the Skate has worse 32GB SD CARD support). Best cards to buy at moment are the Samsung class 10's from play.com (Or perhaps *were* dunno if the vat change law happened yet). (I have a PNY class 10 that needs to be sent back wouldn't buy from them again - and it performs like a Lexar class 4).

(Too many dishonest people on Ebay - I only use it when there is no other option). Even going for the absolute cheapest price - Amazon Marketplace or the Play equivalent is far safer. (Junk sellers get booted out very quickly - someone trys to scam they will just refund you).
Guest trueno2k
Hey all, If you can afford the cost why not go for one these 32GB class 10's http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_6&products_id=112725 at 7dayshop.com... I've had this microsd for a week now and so far liking it alot... I've used 7dayshop.com several times and never had a problem with them yet... go check out their other offers, prices are mostly reasonable too... I haven't got a sdcard speed test app yet but will do later... Hopefully it'll trample my class 6 8GB into the floor :D LOL... I recommend no less than a class 6 microsd card imo as I like fast transfers... Hope this helps you all ^_^
Guest dadashi
treuno2k, omc accepts your 32GB microsd in your omc, that's what I wanted to hear. I've had the Sandisk class4 16GB working perfectly in my OMC, Sandisk class4 32GB should suffice...that is if omc accepts it

Guest dadashi
I bought a Transcend 32GB class4 a couple of weeks ago, it actually has class10 speeds...and a thirty year lifetime warranty works perfect in Skate, much faster than my previous Sandisk16GB class4...
