My Racer have only 162 mb of ram total. Is that normal? if it have 256 where is the rest

this question has already been answered somewhere on this forum, sorry for the lack of english first but, racer does have 256mb memory and uses part of it to store for system files or something thus leaving around 160mb free for everything else, ie our apps and stuff..
