At 03/10, Acer released the official Gingerbread ROM finally...

BTW, it was the same version as Vache's previous leak.

P.S.Seems that you may have to switch the Acer sites of another region that was included in this release in order to see this upgrade, for example UK and France.

i have checked over the acer.com and the gingerbread slot still empty .

and do you have GEN2 . ?

anyone try out this yet ? kernel updated ? internal storage infor ?

notification LED works for all types of incoming texts ?like it used to be in the froyo 0049 stock rom ?

hmmmm.....really weird.....I looked on the acer site and could see the 2.3 OS as per all your images. I also noticed a "gingerbread user manual" that was at about 11.30am.

Got home to do over the air update via wifi and nowt there.

Have just checked on acer site and it looks like it has been pulled.

perhaps they put the old leaked one on by mistake and are in the process of putting a new version on.......

i checked again and it is still there....as the image that i posted..

THis is very odd....I am back at work and it is now showing....very weirdicus.

Anyway, I am downloading it onto my desktop for loading later in case I cannot do the over the wifi update.

ALso, can I download this directly from the site to my phone (ie via the website)?

It is available for download if you go to the UK site. Mine is downloading as I type this.
