I'd love to use USB Host mode on my Monte carlo, so that I can type using a USB keyboard (and try other stuff too!).

Please, in as concise a way as possible, would you mind explaining if:

1/ It is enabled in Gingerbread, by default, on Blue Monte ROM?

2/ If not, is there a simple way to enable & use it (I'm ace with soldering, so no need to explain adapters etc ;))

Thanks!

not sure about USB host mode, but this is exactly why i have been trying to enable the Bluetooth HID profile, to use wireless keyboards, mouse, gamepad ect....

think its only 3.0 (honeycomb) that has usb host mode enabled as standard
